1. Who We Are

WildComiks ("we," "us," "our") operates the wildcomiks.com platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information about you when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account data

• Email address (required for login).
• Name and profile picture — only if you sign in via Google or GitHub and those providers share them.

Usage data

• Prompts you enter and images generated (stored to power your canvas and history).
• Generation counts (to enforce plan limits and prevent abuse).
• IP address and basic browser/device info (standard server logs, kept 30 days).

Payment data

• Billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive a Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To operate and improve the Service (generate images, save your work).
• To enforce plan limits and prevent abuse.
• To send transactional emails (account verification, billing receipts).
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your prompts or images to train AI models without your explicit opt-in. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

4. Third-Party Services

The Service uses the following third-party processors. Each processes data only as necessary to provide their function:

• Fal.ai — processes image generation prompts. Prompts are sent to Fal's API and are subject to Fal's privacy policy.
• Anthropic — processes prompt enrichment requests (when enabled). Subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
• Stripe — processes payments. We share only what Stripe needs to bill you.
• Vercel — hosts the application. Standard server logs apply.
• Google / GitHub — optional OAuth login providers. Used only if you choose to sign in with them.

5. Data Retention

• Account data: retained while your account is active and for 90 days after deletion.
• Generated images: retained in your canvas until you delete them or close your account.
• Server logs: 30 days.
• Billing records: 7 years (legal/tax requirement).

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable laws, including:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and data.
• Portability — receive your data in a portable format.
• Opt-out of sale — we do not sell data; this right is automatically satisfied.

7. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in (required for the Service to function). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. No cookie consent banner is needed beyond this disclosure.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us at privacy@wildcomiks.com and we will delete it promptly.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures (TLS in transit, encrypted credentials at rest, access controls) to protect your data. No system is 100% secure; we will notify you promptly in the event of a breach that affects your personal data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. We will notify you via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
