Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

wildcomiks.com ("the Site") is operated by Abstract Image LLC, doing business as WildComiks ("we," "us," "our"). The Site publishes our own webcomics for anyone to read. There are no public accounts: you do not sign up, log in, upload, or pay to read. This Policy explains what little we collect from visitors and what we do with it.

2. Information We Collect

Server logs

• IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, referrer, and timestamp — the standard request log our hosting provider writes for every page load.

Analytics

• Aggregate page-view counts and approximate country/device type via Vercel Analytics. It does not set cookies, does not track you across sites, and is not used for advertising.

On-device reading preferences

• Your browser's local storage may hold reading preferences (for example, your place in a chapter or a reader setting). This data stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Email

• If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you write. We keep it only to reply and handle your request.

3. How We Use It

• To serve the Site and keep it running.
• To detect abuse, scraping, and attacks.
• To understand which comics are being read, in aggregate.
• To answer your email.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data. We do not run advertising or share data with advertisers. We do not send marketing email.

4. Third-Party Processors

One third party handles visitor data on our behalf, only as needed to provide its service:

• Vercel— hosts the Site, writes the server logs above, and provides Vercel Analytics. Subject to Vercel's privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

• Server logs: retained by Vercel for its standard log window, then discarded.
• Analytics: kept only in aggregate; not tied to you individually.
• Local storage: on your device until you clear it.
• Email: kept as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted on request.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws, including:

• Access — ask what personal data we hold about you.
• Deletion — ask us to delete it.
• Opt-out of sale — we do not sell data; this right is automatically satisfied.

To exercise any right, email privacy@wildcomiks.com. Because we hold almost nothing about individual visitors, we may need your IP address or the email you wrote from to find anything. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

The public Site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Reading preferences are kept in your browser's local storage, not cookies. A session cookie is used only inside the private, studio-only area of the Site, which the public does not access.

8. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us at privacy@wildcomiks.com and we will delete it promptly.

9. Security

The Site is served over TLS. Private areas are access-controlled. No system is 100% secure; if a breach affects personal data we hold about you, we will notify you as the law requires.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy by posting a revised version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after that date means you accept the revised Policy.
